I understand that there will be 3 separate race numbers - Bike Frame Number, Bike Helmet Number, and Run Number. May sound like a dumb question, but some of the races around here require you to wear the run number while on the bike and run. Last week at a race there were a number of people who weren't allowed to start the bike because they didn't have their run number. I don't see the requirement here in the rules. Is the run number only required for the run? |

| The decision to wear the bib number on the bike is usually a race director decision. That is why it varies by race. Last year we only required the bib number on the run. As far as I know it will be the same this year. Any changes will be discussed at the pre race meeting. |

| Hmm...I was hoping to have all of my stuff checked in before the prerace meeting. That would mean knowing whether to put my run number and race belt in my swim to bike bag or bike to run bag. |

Good point. It is official. Bib number is ONLY NEEDED ON THE RUN. Body marking, helmet number and bike number will suffice on the bike.

Thanks for the quick response.
Now back to over-planning and undertraining. |
