I want to express my appreciation to all the race staff & volunteers who put on one of the best run races I have ever done.  The decision to dismount the bikes was brilliant...   Thanks for a great job.

Larry Krutka   (2009)

Thank you very much for such a well run event.  Your staff of volunteers was incredible.  I did not pass any volunteer or aid station that did not offer words of support and encouragement.

- Bryan P. Lyons, D.M.D.   (2007)

- Fred Northern   (2007)

Just wanted to thank you for a great race!!!   I couldn't imagine an event that is better suited for a first timer like me.  Well organized, amazing volunteers, and a great course.  I was very impressed with how you dealt with the challenges presented by the weather.  I will recommend Redman to anyone interested in finding a good full or half distance race.

Bob Irwin    (2009)

I have to say that this event was one of the best organized events I have ever participated in.  I have done many races, marathons, and triathlons, both USAT and NAS, and I would pick the Redman every time as my race of choice.  Great course, great race organization team and fantastic volunteers!  Simply the best!!!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Kenny Teague   (2009)

…. I have enjoyed your venue so much.  ...I was so pleased with this venue, I brought many team members....   I will be bringing back more next year.  Keep up the good work.

-  Gerald - Negative Split Racing   (2009)

JOB WELL DONE.   Everyone was wonderfully nice.  I felt like a NASCAR driver with a pit crew.

-  Traci Johnson   (2007)

I just wanted to send you a note, to let you know what a wonderful job…   you have done.  Many times in our lives our hard work goes unnoticed….    I noticed, and will be back in the future years to come.   THANK YOU!   - Anon (2006)

I want to thank you guys for such a great experience.   This was my first (full)distance triathlon and it was a wonderful experience.   It was well worth the drive from South Carolina.
- Clark Davis   (2007)

It was the best organized race I have ever been to....   Not to take away from any races that I have done, but the Redman takes the cake, it is the best I have raced in.
- Fred Whitaker   (2008)

I was impressed from the moment I signed up for this race.  I can't believe the man-hours that went into pulling this off - it was definitely a labor of love….    - Anon   (2006)

Thank Dave the Director again for bearing the burden of this humongous undertaking and all it means to us participants.   Y'all are the best I have witnessed since 1979!  THANKS!
- John Clements #208   (2008)

…The venue is great….

…Everything was organized, easy to understand, and very well run….

…The volunteers brought me to tears - they were so incredible….

….The hospitality of the city was warm and welcoming….

…Everything was wonderful - except for miles 2 through 26.2 on the run.  :-)…       -  2006

…You have all touched my life along the way.  I hope to return to others what you have given to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.   The experience was priceless.    2006

Incredibly WELL DONE to David Wood and all the REDMAN Triathlon organizers, officials, volunteers, and associates.

You did the impossible again, I suspect.  What great personalities and attitudes you displayed!  This was the best large scale activity I have ever seen........ Thank you and CONGRATULATIONS!

You are all incredible.... simply wonderful!

With great admiration,

James E. Whinnery Ph.D., M.D.   (2007)

Well I have to say I was really impressed with the entire race.... After completing two m-dot half's this year Redman was by far the best race I've done.  The aid stations and volunteers were amazing....  I will not soon forget the girl in the Dallas Cowboys jersey soaked to the bone cheering everyone on by name at the aid station....   I will definitely be putting this on the calendar again for next year.

 Tim Custer   (2009)

… At no point during the race did I encounter a volunteer that wasn't cheering me on, or asking me what they could do for me. Anything I needed, they had, and gladly brought it to me. I signed up for this race because of a recommendation…He told me how great the volunteers were and how great the race was. I can honestly say that what he said held true.   2006

I want to personally thank you for one of the most incredible days of my life.  Words are inadequate to express my gratitude.  I will forever cherish the memories of that day.

Respectfully,

Angela Stewart - Race # 1553   (2007)

I agree with everyone!  Cheers to all the race volunteers and staff that made it happen!  I thought it was tough training for this thing, I can't believe how dedicated and tough everyone was to get this thing going despite the conditions.  I love the folks in OKC, I definitely want to come back next year.  You guys rock.

- Matt Gilmartin    (2009)

I have done many triathlons and marathons, but the race staff and volunteers at Redman were several rungs above anything I have experienced elsewhere.  I am indeed grateful.

Boyd Seevers   (2007)
Minneapolis, MN

The Redman triathlon is a world-class event, managed by wonderful, caring people who work extremely hard to make it a supportive, beginner-friendly event.

(2008)

… You have the greatest volunteers.   I work several races in Shreveport and we have great volunteers, but yours are right up there.

All the rest stops were stocked everytime I came by.   I never had to worry about them not having a variety of foods and drinks.

I personally appreciated the two women at the run special needs area...

.... It was a good experience and I am thankful I came.

Michael S. Cook    (2009)

Great event!  This was my first TRI.

- Christan Templeton   (2009)

... The aid stations were awesome!  The good folks on the .....course had a huge impact on the racers and the outcome of this race.   They were so positive and enthusiastic that seeing them really buoyed my spirits and kept me pushing throughout the race!....     Kenny Teague   (2009)

Redman is truly a premier event.
Gratefully,
Frank Chenoweth   (2007)

"…I have told everyone that I have never seen such kindness, servitude, and encouragement in all my hundreds of races.  Ya'll were the best!!    P.S. Thank the path chalker man too...."

- John Clements #208     (2008)
