I have to say that this event was one of the best organized events I have ever participated in. Well I have to say I was really impressed with the entire race.... After completing two m-dot half's this year Redman was by far the best race I've done. The aid stations and volunteers were amazing.... I will not soon forget the girl in the Dallas Cowboys jersey soaked to the bone cheering everyone on by name at the aid station.... I will definitely be putting this on the calendar again for next year.

… At no point during the race did I encounter a volunteer that wasn't cheering me on, or asking me what they could do for me. Anything I needed, they had, and gladly brought it to me. I signed up for this race because of a recommendation…He told me how great the volunteers were and how great the race was. I can honestly say that what he said held true. 2006

I thought it was tough training for this thing, I can't believe how dedicated and tough everyone was to get this thing going despite the conditions. … You have the greatest volunteers. I work several races in Shreveport and we have great volunteers, but yours are right up there.
All the rest stops were stocked everytime I came by. I never had to worry about them not having a variety of foods and drinks.
I personally appreciated the two women at the run special needs area...
